About me

Hi my name is Mette Markvard. My mum taught me how to crochet when I was around 7, but I didn't really doing it again until my twenties when I noticed my granma's cushions made from grannysquares. Then my aunt taught my mum, my mum taught me and I taught another aunt how to make the squares. Since then I started making a lot of animals, but when I got tired of those, I started making my own clothes, wanting to make patterns more accessible and easy for people, because I found one that I didn't understand. 

So on this page you'll find a variety of patterns, showing my creative side.
